Unit Description: PPMB-Hospital is BabyFriendly certified to support mother with breastfeeding but always mothers choice. There is a separate nursery but we encourage rooming in but the nursery is available per mothers request. Post delivery cesarean and vaginal delivery and  post partum readmission. Need to be able to teach Mothers breast pumps. All procedures done at bedside with mother. Outside vender does hearing test. 24 hour newborn screening completed, high risk patient discharge on lovenox and need discharge instructions, 50% non English speaking (Chinese, Spanish , Arabic) all materials provided in patients language. Nurses do not usually start IV's or draw bloods. Lactation education experience required, OBIX fetal monitoring system experience preferred. Stable antepartum with intermittent monitoring preferred.
